Gravel, Glorious Gravel

My Mom was embarrassingly excited today at the prospect of a dump truck delivering 13 tons of gravel for her driveway.  I can’t blame her, though, because I know that in a few months when we get our own driveway graded and gravel spread I am going to be freaking ecstatic!

Violet was looking forward to seeing a real dump truck in action, but when the time came she refused to come outside.  The air brakes scared her, the poor thing.  Vi watched everything from the window, though.

It will be nice when we are able to do the same for our driveway.  Actually, ours will require a lot more work, because the rain has completely washed it out and we’ll need a bulldozer to re-grade it.  Come on, tax refund!!    😉
